Kollette started her fitness journey 12 years ago. Taking that first step into a gym,
she felt like a fish out of water. But in no time, she began a dedicated
routine of step aerobics and weight lifting. On her way, she lost one hundred
pounds, completed two 60-mile Susan G. Komen 3-Day walks, in 2008 and 2009. In
2011, she hiked Machu Picchu.
In February 2013, Kollette attended her first Sunstone yoga class and was hooked.
Wanting to deepen her practice and knowledge of yoga, she completed a 200-hour
certification at Sunstone Yoga Academy and began teaching in April of 2015.
When she’s not teaching yoga, she and her amazing husband, Patrick have a dedicated
yoga practice. Kollette is a print production extraordinaire working on the Chick-fil-A
and Sub-Zero accounts at The Richards Group.
