At SunstoneFIT, we have cultivated a welcoming community of like-minded people, offering something for everyone. Like all of our SunstoneFIT studios, our Prestonwood studio is designed to help you cultivate the best version of yourself, both on and off the mat.

As always, our highly-trained and experienced yoga teachers are here to support and guide you throughout your practice. Whether you want to actively advance your yoga practice or simply enjoy a gentle weekly class, our teachers are here to provide you with whatever you need.

Did you know yoga has a long list of benefits off the mat too? But don't just take our word for it! Research and science also agree. Below are some of the additional benefits you can enjoy:

  • Better Body Image: Studies have found that yogis were more aware of their bodies than non-yogis. And, overall those who practiced yoga were less critical and more accepting of their bodies.
  • Mindful Eating: Practicing yoga has been shown to increase mindfulness in class and other areas of life too. One such area was found in the kitchen, where research shows that dedicated yogis were more mindful eaters.
  • Weight Maintenance: Researchers found that those who practiced yoga for half an hour a day once a week (for at least 4 years) gained fewer pounds during the age of 20-40 than those who didn’t.
  • Enhanced Fitness: Researchers studied a small group of non-active folks who had never done yoga before. After 2 months of practicing yoga, each participant had greater muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility.
  • Cardiovascular Benefits: A number of micro studies found yoga to have a positive impact on cardiac risk factors. It helped lower blood pressure in people who have hypertension and improved lipid profiles in those with heart disease.

1. Hot Yoga: Expect a serious sweat session as we follow a sequence of grounding and powerful yoga postures in our signature Hot Yoga class.

2. Hot Yoga Lite: A slower and more gentle version of the Hot Yoga series, our Hot Yoga Lite classes take place in a slightly less heated environment.

  • This class allows you to really slow your movements down and get deeper into each posture
  • Our lowest intensity class that moves at a moderate pace means it's ideal for newbies or anyone looking for a more gentle practice.

3. Hot Flow: Hot Flow is all about enhancing your body’s strength and mastering the fine art of balance.

  • Combining the best of hot yoga and vinyasa flow in one class
  • Whatever your level, Hot Flow features an intermediate flow sequence designed to build stamina and burn calories

4. Flow Yoga: SunstoneFIT’s most energetic yoga offering, this class is all about connecting to your breath through movements and music.

  • Each sequence is designed to improve both your body’s balance and endurance
  • Set to yoga beats, our Flow Yoga classes core focus is to strengthen legs and increase the spine and neck’s range of motion

5. Pure Yoga: Designed to help new or returning yogis build confidence through postures and transitional yoga flows.

  • Get into the groove with plenty of time to adjust your postures and find your flow
  • A light and restoring class, Pure Yoga is a great way to reconnect with your body and mind

6. Yoga Calm: Our Yoga Calm series is based on our Hot Yoga postures but set at a more gentle pace in a less heated studio.

  • For ultimate calm and centering, the class is set to music in a dimly lit studio with minimal instructions from our teachers
  • In order to follow the posture cueing, we suggest yogis first familiarize themselves with the Hot Yoga sequence before signing up for Yoga Calm.

SunstoneFIT was established by Brandon Hartsell and Nicole Shaw almost 20 years ago. Since then, we've welcomed so many students into our studios across the greater DFW area. Alongside our diverse yoga classes, SunstoneFIT also offers hot Pilates, barre, functional fitness, and High-Intensity Interval Training. Across all of our locations, we have 250 highly-trained instructors who teach over 800 classes a week.

What are adjusted classes? 

Adjusted classes combine the ALIVE Immersive Experience with a specially trained instructor who will focus solely on helping students with their postures during the class.

  • SPARK| TOTAL BODY BARRE 60| A heated 60 minute Barre inspired class. This class is a total body experience using Isolated movements with light hand weights and bands in high repetitions to improve posture and balance.
  • PARTICLE| CARDIO BARRE 45| Particle is a heated 45 min Barre inspired class with dance and cardio elements. The upbeat movements are energizing and joyful. This class is accessible to all students.
  • NUCLEUS| YOGA SCULPT 60| A heated 60 minute Vinyasa style class with hand weights. Tone with weights and stretch with yoga. An uplifting class that strengthens your entire body and increases your range of motion. This class encompasses the calm of yoga, and energy of strength training.
  • UNIVERSE| MAT HIIT 45| This is a 45 minute functional fitness class integrated with HIIT components. It will improve cardiovascular health, mobility, and strength - feel as good as you look.
  • GRAVITY| MAT PILATES 45| - a mat PILATES class to increase health, flexibility and ignite your core
